Who will score more combined points?
John Freeborn:
Tom Brady and Philip Rivers
Josh Aulozzi: Aaron Rodgers and Josh
Freeman
Winner: Josh Aulozzi
(Rodgers 351.6 + Freeman 265.5 = 617.1)
(Brady 350.28 + 225.24 = 575.52)
Percy Harvin will be a Top 7 WR in this league.
John Freeborn: Yes
Josh Aulozzi: No
Winner: John Freeborn
Due to injury, Percy Harvin only played 9 games. However, on a per game basis he was the #3 WR. Interestingly, on a per game basis, Randall Cobb was #1 and Calvin Johnson #2.
Looks like I'm well on my way to an early lead.
ReplyDelete*Correction*
ReplyDelete**I'm** the one with the early lead. #'s after week 1- Rodgers/Freeman 34.64 pts, Brady/Rivers 30.58 pts.
Only 1 player has played so far in week 2, so we'll wait til the week is over before rushing to any judgements. (Not that there's any point in rushing to judgement in week 2 on a season long bet anyway.)
Stafford and RGIII
ReplyDeleteI wish someone would have taken RGIII before you. Rivers for RGIII?
ReplyDeleteNah.
ReplyDeleteI wager that after I decimate Josh will statistical eloquence, empirical relevance, intellectual prowess and good ol' fashion reason regarding my Subjective Performance Rankings, which I am oh so faithfully executing a passionate, yet patient response to even right now, that he will respond with utter shame over his present ignorance, call for his mommy and ask for a binkie, and use CAPS at least twice in pronouncing me the king of intuition itself.
ReplyDeletePUT IT ON THE BOARD!!!!!!!!!!!!!1!!11
For some reason when "The Board" got moved to the top row, I lost the ability to edit the post so I'm putting this here for now.
ReplyDeletePercy Harvin will be a Top 7 WR in this league.
Josh Aulozzi: No
John Freeborn: Yes
While these never made it to the level of official board bets, I would like to point out the following-
ReplyDeleteRyan Matthews is currently the 26th ranked RB
Darren McFadden is currently the 28th ranked RB
Calvin Johnson is currently the 4th ranked WR (key point is that he's not anywhere close to repeating last year's freak performance)
Matthew Stafford is currently the 8th ranked QB (also good, but again not close to last year's level)
Lastly, Jay Cutler is currently the 25th ranked QB. There weren't any board bet considerations for this one, but I just thought I'd point it out in case anyone was curious.
